Exactly, as said by others, I like the multiple layers and the cactus in the foreground that adds a sense of dimension.This is something I should learn from your broad landscapes : to put something in the foreground so as to frame and add perspective.

Beautiful background layering and that nice sharp cactus in the foreground make a terrific composition...your horizontal midground makes a great 90 degree contrast to the vertical cactus...excellent image

I love these hazy shots, it shows how they are spread out distance wise. Cacti in the front good for anchor. Nice work

A wonderful take Don! The cactus puts this photo squarely in the desert southwest. The strip of green says irrigated valley to me, and the mountains receding into the haze are excellent. Nicely seen. Thanks for nice comments on my seagull at sunset photo. Cheers. Craig
