great shot, tim. This really captures how coral is when she paints, & as happy as i am that she's getting her own studio, i'm going to miss watching her work. She has a real peacefulness & acceptance of her process which is really amazing to see. I've discovered that what makes her such a wonderful artist is also what makes her great to live with.

Tim, I sat viewing this shot and thought that person is so engrossed in what she's doing. That can't be posed. Lo and behold you said that in the about so that means you've REALLY captured the mood. The lighting is fabulous. Den

Tim ,I am a artist also and my studio looks alot like Coral,s. I have been thinking for some time about a photograph of my studio ,but, kept waiting until I cleaned it up! If I would use your theme for a photo and post it on Usefilm would you mind?I will not do this if you object. Your photo of "Night Painter' is great! JOE

wow! hornby island seems to be full of artists.... to be honest, i've never heard of the place, but i'm guessing it must be a peaceful and scenic place, that attracts artists. life as an artist sounds nice.
good work in depicting your friends tim.

Tim I like this one very much, the artist at work, your about goes along with what my sister feels when she is painting also, completely oblivious of what's going on arond her. you have captured that feeling well. Alison
