I think this one's very well exposed. You could have probably shot a few more frames over here, done a better job with the person. The gradation, textures on the sacks and the wall are pretty cool.

Fantastic shot, Claude. Even before I read the "Location" tag, and even withou any tell-tale clues in the frame (no Bengali characters on the wall), I could tell this was Kolkata!
Great atmosphere. Lovely colors. The weight of the cargo comes across very clearly, especially through the "low-key" aspect of the bags. Wonderful street documentary rising to the level of art!

Another winning image Claude. I really would like to see this one on the front page. Great shot.

To the market??? A heavy work.....such a capture and such a composition. How he?s going to take all this to the market - that my question. This is a superb portrait of the man and his life! Excellent.
Thanks for your comment!

very nice shot Claude, I like the man peeking out there behind the rice bags (is he the carrier ?), seems he doesn't like though you took picture of him :)

I'm suprised at the low comment count on this one. This shot is full of stories. The composition and balance of the image all add up to an excellent shot...well done
