Wow! This is an amazing sight to see. Those clouds just look as if they are swirling around, almost painted on the sky. I bet it was one hell of a storm, they look so very moody and powerful.
Thanks.

Wow!!!! I'm fond of storm shots, and this sky is stunning. In Ontario we frequently get severe thunderstorms, but I have yet to see cloud formations like this. I think we are both lucky that this far north we seldom get tornados. If you lived in Kansas I'd be looking for an old lady on a bicycle in your pic.

what an amazing sky.. we dont see skys like this to often in florida.. it is very scary.. right above the tree line a little left of the middle of the photo you can see a face in the clouds.. reminds me of an old cartoon that featured old man wind. K

Michael, Thank you for your comment. Glad you can relate to this photo. Also glad you like it. We should've been heading inside but we are just crazy enough to stand around and take pictures of stuff like this. Have you noticed that sometimes recording the image takes presidence over being sensible. Kind of funny how photographers are isn't it?! ~Cheri

Richard, Yup that's real. It was taken off our back porch in the summer time, just before a big rain storm. It was really awesome to watch the clouds rolling in! I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks, ~Cheri
