You have every right to be proud Peter this is a fabulous picture that I was drawn too the instant I saw it. Ideally I would have preferred to see it crisply rendered in both the foreground and background where the depth of field is just starting to fall away a little. Never-the-less a compelling image which I enjoyed immensely.

Mind you .. you may well come over here and find nothing 999 times on 1000... i think these patterns were created by several conditions working together .. right wind direction and speed, right tide etc .. and i was there just at the right moment, not to early to have too much wind and sand blowing over the beach, and not too late for them to be washed away again, or blown over by loose sand as wind speed was decreasing.. it was the first time in years that i saw these so beautifully worked out !

I love these sand patterns. I wil have to come to Ostend to find them as where I live they are never as good as this. (Or maybe it is the photographer :-) Regards marie
