Great capture of a timeless concept, Ramon: One generation lost an experience quite normal and intuitive to previous generations.

Reminds me of a question from my teenager recently: Why do you call that key the "Return Key"? Or the little boy, when told that the collection of 35 identically looking books is called an encyclopedia, was astounded ?that someone went through the pains of printing it all out ??

Now, here is a question for people born after, say, 1920. Why are the characters (at least here in the US) called ?UPPER CASE? and ?lower case? characters?
