It is jet thrust Debbie, but also, in this case, the jet is on "after burner", which uses lots more fuel, creates a huge amount of thrust, and inceases the speed of the aircraft much more rapidly, and also, for the benefit of a photographer, it has more flame!
Very nice Steve........after i opened up the image...the only thing that came to my mind was 'POWER' ....and as i looked down, it was indeed named accordingly.... :-) This pic will be one of my favourite images for time to come.....
