i had a very brief view of the Tower when I was in Paris. But it was at night and was all lit up.

This shows a side of it I'm sure many fail to see. Wonderful.

And for someone who claims not to be a photographer- you certainly have an excellent photogrpaher's eye.

Bill, thanks for viewing and taking the time to comment in such extent, appreciate that.
You are right, if I stare at this for maybe 1 minute or so, i start seeing the parts move inside out...quite weird!
And yes, the tower is really massive and void at the same time...that's what i was contemplating at the time...

Alberto, This is something like a Rorschach test for me. You are right, you can see a lot of different things.

Certainly an interesting perspective. I am willing to bet you could ask 10 different people to identify it and get 10 different answers.

I think from this angle what you can really get a feel for is the strength, graphic detail, and complexity of the construction.

And the layering of the lighting gives it a kind of iconic quality.
