hmmm you've made this very hard for me... i can't decide if one looks better than the other.... i love both... you should frame them side by side and hang them on your wall for me.....lol... well done Jim... love em....

I love the impact that the simplicity and contrast of this image provides.
I find that the framing you provide tends to detract from what is a very effective image. It is so strong that it competes for attention along with the scene you have chosen to share with us. I believe that the picture itself is strong enough to stand alone.
