This is more of a comment about a critique from armen, ?subtle concept of symmetry in this greatly asymmetric composition?? ?Hidden misbalance?? perception of eternity? Internal harmony? This is priceless material? but he missed the part about seeing the Shroud of Turin in the wall and realizing all life?s answers in the steps leading to the bells. Sorry for the sarcasm, I?m just jealous that he gets the feeling of "eternity of the soul" and I don?t.
It?s a nice shot though, however, I?m seeing a little bit of scanner or film noise, and it?s a tad on the light side for my taste. All in all it?s well done though. Looks like a great photographic location

There is some very subtle concept of symmetry in this greatly asymmetric composition. To me, that hidden "misbalance" makes it stand out. What also strikes me is the very tiny glimpse of the sea in the left corner, that creates a perception of eternity of the faith concentrated in this magic church. The lightness of the tones and domination of the sky enhance the feeling of eternity of the soul!
On the sentimental note, I wished I ever had a chance to sit on these stairs to stare at the see and freeze in internal harmony.
