This is a painting I inherited from my parents. It is a "Stahl Stich" or engraving. My great grandfather made the frame. It was folded in the middle as you can see to be hidden during the war. Apparently much more of this art owned by my family was "confiscated", but this one was saved. I am trying to find out more about its history and value. I've always loved it. If you know anything about it please let me know. The date is on the back of the paper it is 17 hundred something. I don't want to touch it anymore than I have to, sorry about the something... My parents and I came from Frankfurt a/m in Germany.
