Greetings Dave, This is a very lovely image, with great color, the jay just pops. The jay is such an elusive bird around here, they come to my feeder all the time but getting a good photo of them is another thing all together....wonderful image, best regards, Sandra

Great shot. A wide cariety of colors. I feel like the bird's head is a bit out of focus. But it may just be the directions of the bird's feathers.

Camoflage for the color blind ! More like 'flaunt it' on your face will be more appropriate.
A refreshing splash of autumn colors and good looking bird to go with.
regards, ken.

Dave: Great catch! We get the Steller Jays up here but I've always liked the way the Blue Jays are marked. We have them in Denver but almost never up here.

This might not work well for the bird, but makes a most beautiful collage of colors for the camera, Dave. Btw, I scolled further down and found out the bird was a blue jay. We have them here, in Israel also, but their very difficult to make a photo of, being very elusive. On the other hand I've been told that when in captivity, they can be taught ti immitate the human voice, lilke parrots. Thanks for your very generous comment on my "Alone on the beach". Best regards, Rafi

Yellow and blue - What a combination. This bird certainly knows where to go to show himself off to best advantage. I'm glad there was a very good photographer there to catch it.

Wow, Dave this is great. All the fall leaves and then the great blue jay well placed in the center. I think you have your work cut out getting all the leaves up before snow. Don.
