Norderney Island, Northern Germany (North Sea). Old fashioned film cross processed in C41. Note the grain, the shifted colors, the overall atmosphere and light of this island which is very dear to me... Yes, there is dust, grain, a weird hue... but this is the magic and random of the chemical game, not the smile-and-press-bzzz-fzz-wzzz-beep digital stuff. We are forgetting a bit too soon, too quickly and too early, the poetry, the softness the time and the reflexion involved in the silver process. I'm not claiming digital is rubbish. I'm claiming digital might turn us lazy, and one fine day, we will probably get satisfied enough from very few... even from ourselves. It's not about progress, but on that follow-the-herd attitude. Maybe I'm too sensitive ;-)
Taking a picture just for anybody to see what everybody can see by him/herself is triteness, and this is not my aim. Nore any photographers' I suppose. Call it "point of view".
Yep, I think you are too sensitive! This image has great potential, had you adjusted it to fit what most of us would have seen had we been present at this site. I have never seen such odd hues in any sky.
