Shattered glass...a portrayal of lifes events and what happens to everyone at times. The trick is to repair them but not cover the cracks as that is what makes us so unique. We all have different scars. Perfect work Fitore. Thankyou also for your wonderful comment on my work.

Dear Fiti, This is the name I prefer to call you, as it is close to mine, Rafi. I hope you left Cosovo before it was sricken by the earthquake we heard about here too. A good friend of mine, Prof. Ori Better helped those who suffered from being crushed under their destroyed houses, as this is his specialty. If you send your e mail address to rafael1930@bezeqint.net (my e mail address) and write "Your book" in the subject line, I'll be more than happy to send my book to you at no cost to you. Despite its name "Dialogues with Schizophrenia - the Art of Psychotherapy" it was written with the non mental-health professional also in mind and several UF friends have already received it from me one way or another and let me know that they found it easy and enjoyable to read. Best regards, Rafi

Rafi, thank you very much for the comment about my image "Sensations Cassées!" As you may have read in my bio I am from Kosova and in our Albanian culture we do break glasses on our wedding day, too! Anyway, this glass meant a lot to me because it represented some deep feelings from my birth country. After I came back to the US, when I opened the luggage the first thing I looked for was this glass and it was broken, it broke my heart also because I felt that the special feelings were broken. Then I had to take a picture of the glass! By the way, Fitore is my first name and some people call me Fiti, too. You can refer to me as Fitore or Fiti, I like them both.
-Fitore

As we have met on these pages before, I would like to suggest that we switch to first names. I, am you already know, am Rafi, but what about you? is Fitore your first name and if not, what is it and do you agree to my using your first name, be it what it may? It is a custom in Jewish marriages that the bridegroom break a glass (well wrapped in aluminium foil so that he not hurt himself)in memory of the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans about 2000 years ago. It is, however swallowed up by the happiness of the occasion.) This is the reason I elected your broken glass to comment on. It is a very good photo on its own right, but the association gave it a deeper meaning for me, being an Israeli. Thank you for your very friendly comment on my "Yemenite woman." It was her enigmatic expression that drew me to her. Best regards, Rafi

reflections in the glass and in you. Like how you saved all the pieces. like the highlights and reflections in the glass. lighting gives a sense of loss.
