The textures of the house and roof are wonderful. The overall tone of your picture is very effective. Including the tree to the right that seems to be watching over the house is a great composition element.

Vermont is beautiful, and this is a well composed image. I especially like your sky treatment. Did you do an PS to get the effect? Using B+W film I have the advantage of pulling a red or orange filter from my bag. How do you do this in digital?

very well composed and the black and white gives justice to this motive, giving it the erie kind of threatning mood like in a Hitchcock movie; everyday scene but a lingering threat. Great!
