Shane e-mail me at rlowen@gmpexpress.net and I will give you the steps to get this effect. I use Photoshop CS I learn every thing from books the best book to get for photographers is Photoshop CS for digital photographers. By Kelby I have been away and thats why it has taken me so long to reply. I'm in and out of town all the time.

Wonderful image that the family will cherish for years to come. I like the blurred edges alot - really brings focus to the subject without taking away the nice surroundings. Nice work, Robin.

Do you mind me asking what version of photoshop you used? I am really new to using Photoshop and so far unable to figure out to get that soft edge feel. If you are willing to help a poor soul out, lol, you could drop me a line at MidSumrDrms@yahoo.com. Thanks.

This is a great photo. I'm curious about the filter you used. I'm just learning the ins and outs of using filters on my camera, and software filters. What kind did you use here if you dont mind me asking?
