About	Back in 1948 the town of Butler was dismantled and destroyed to make room for the waters of the Watauga river and roan creek.This is a photo of the main road that was Butler.If you go in and swim about 10 feet you can see the road as it was.I think it's amazing to see.One day I would love to dive and see what still exists of the old town.

What a great image! There's a similar place near where I live in California, an old town that's at the bottom of a reservoir now.

Your image of the road leading into the lake, along with the story, does lead me to wonder as well what is left under the water. I love the greens here, and the reflection is marvelous. Congratulations!
