About
After more than a year I decided to go back to "analog" photography. I was feeling I was not in control of my photographs... even if my digital camera gives me full manual control (aperture and speed settings). Using EVFs, LCDs, and that annoying shutter lag (combined with the lack of a real shutter move) has been growing inside me until two weeks ago. I decided to sell my old analog Minolta equipment and acquire a Nikon F80. So this is quite an expression of that feeling using digital cameras... like being behind a fence that shows you the light but don't let you move to it. It is also my first roll after a year. What a pleasure to load the film, to hear the shutter sound... Of course digital has lots of uses and it can help a lot but in this point of my life... I need to go back to real light handling. NOTE: you need a fine calibrated monitor to get the subtle details in the dark areas. It's not pitch black!.
