Hi Darrin, I like the emotion and expressiveness in this shot. It captures the shyness of the boy and girl perfectly. I'm kind of ambiguous about the composition. The close crop emphasises the uncertainty and the need for protection in the girls eyes, and even more in her brothers'(?) poses, clinging on to his sister. On the other hand, there seems to be an adult in the background; Even though out of focus ( I definately wouldn't change that!) I think that a wider composition, including the (well, in my imagination) mother, offering that protection, would complete it. Great documentary; your work is fantastic! I also think a softer print would a wee bit more suitable. Hope you don't mind these remarks, as I'm only trying to pinpoint what I think. Helps me learn and improve...:)
