This was the FIRST image I took with my 4x5 camera. The lens I used has a sync, but I didn't have the right adaptor to PC or to household to use on the strobes. So there's a 200w Mini-Mole on a boom above her head, and two Norman P800D heads with umbrellas. The B setting on the shutter stopped working between me testing the camera and taking the picture, so I had to use T.. open the shutter, hit the test button, close the shutter. The film came with the camera, was expired by about 6 months and hadn't been cold-stored, but I gave it a try. I think I rated it at 400, but maybe it was 200. Regardless, it needed another minute or more of development, so the contrast is off and the negs are quite thin. This image is a crop, her whole body is in the shot. I'll upload one of those too.
the crop is ok Jeremy....got texture in the hair and tone on her face is there, a bit dull but there.....the inclusion of her hand brought up near her face would have worked nicely here but I understand this a crop from the other image.......shadow from her shoulder is evident but not too objectionable.....
Very nice Jeremy. I really like this one. I do kinda wonder what is right under her face on the right? A little less shadow on the lower cheek. I work in a restaraunt, alot of the girls are going to model for me in the future, for practice of my own. I will be doing outdoor images. Wish me luck. I have 35 mm (canon) and think I'll go with Astia 100.
