About I saw the light playing on this Pennine hillside, the drystone walls and dark, brooding clouds whilst driving home from a short break in The Lake District. The light was fleeting and it meant resting the camera on a drystone wall as there was no time to set up the tripod.

Nice capture of the English landscape Barry. The patchwork pattern of the drystone walls adds interest to what would be a bland foreground. I think the drama of the scene would be heightened if the clouds were not so blue & pink. Regards john

Beautiful light, Barry. I wish there were more light on the trees, but a nice capture nonetheless. Regards.
