Hi Lori, very nice image, I mean, highly detailed building. Perfect lighting control.... It's cute that you blend the sky and the sea this way, it's as if the city is floating in the sky......

Hi Carlos, Thank you so much, pleased you like this one. Believe it or not, I really do not have any filters for my camera. When I was in business, I had almost every Cokin filter there is. And a bunch of others. Now I do all effects In Photoshop CS. I do want to get an IR filter, and polarizer.
And I really want another digital camera! Always SOMETHING huh? Thanks again, Lori :)

I read your profile and see most of your pictures i think they are great. Having so many years of experience taking pictures I figure you would be the person I want to take some decent pictures of me. I like the fact that you are hooked on PS, so am I and of course of the so manny available filters and brushes too :). What filters do you use or have? Carlos

This is the best San Diego skyline I've ever seen. I haven't shot this in years. Way back ('68-'69) the lights were much more colorful. I've been scanning my old Kodachromes and will post one when I come across one.

Aha! a panorama! Lovely one, too. Exposure looks perfect... Isn't it a shame that Altaf hasn't upgraded the treatment of panoramas yet to allow greater pixel "dimensions." It's announced, and promised, "Real Soon Now." Can hardly wait (I shoot about half and half panoramas and standard format).

Nice cityscape. I like that you got the moon in there. The moon is casting its reflection on the water. It would be interesting to see if another exposure combination could enhance that effect.

Nice eye, Lori. Nicely prepared for the web too. I love the convenience of the small digitals. The Optio is so neat.
As to your question about the hummingbirds: the Rufous migrate through California although I'm sure the Anna's, Costa's, Black Chinned, and Allen's are much more common there in the summer. The Allen's are very similar to the Rufous with a bit more green on the males' backs. Set up some feeders and I know they will come.

This is shocking! (I'm laughing, not at you, the color) I'm so glad I don't live across the street from this! This photo is magnificent !!! Great shot.
Thanks for commenting on my pink house (no-not MY house)haha...feel free to wild it up & ship it back, I may try to catch it in the afternoon sun as some suggested, but I don't know if I could find the house again. But if I see it, I'll shoot it better. Had to crop out the flashing sign(it's a hait/nail salon). Thanks agian, you have many beautiful shots, esp La Jolla...
