I like the perspective, colours & tones of this image Antonella. I think Roger is off the mark with the unsharp mask, I think the halo is from a contrast mask or burning in. Antonella, thank you so much as always for your encouraging comments. This is a very unusual perspective, and the vantage point is well chosen. Also, seeing all that water flowing down at an angle from above eye level has a peculiar psychological effect. This is therefore a strangely powerful photo. I detect the white "rim" or "halo" of excessive sharpening along the skyline (trees). At the moment, I am investigating some plugins that perform sharpening with much better control over this factor than PS does... I'll share my experience on the digital darkroom forum and point you to it. Of course, dear Antonella, this may not be YOUR sharpening at all. Altaf has revealed that Usefilm sometimes both compresses and adds additional sharpening when it isn't really necessary... which would be a shame on such a fine original photo as this one.
