I also would like to see more of the obstacle or how high the skater is in the air. Try using a vertical shot next time. I do a lot of biketrials (riding and shooting) and I would estimate that at least 60-70 percent of my pictures are in vertical format. It gets the rider, obstacle and lots of sky when you are low to the ground.

The fisheye would have been nice and it would have put more of teh obstacle in in the frame, but I aint got one!! I have done some stuff with a borrowed camera that had one of those screw on lenses and I think everything I shot with it looked cool.

You may be right about it not being a kickflip. I'm not sure what half of the stuff is called today, I do know one thing though, the sport has progressed a whole lot since I skated.

As of being a skatboaring photographer I would like to see more of the obstacle. I would also like to see the clouds and light post distorted. Have you considered of using a fisheye lens for the wide angle and the distorted affect? I use a fisheye for my shots and i really like the affects and how it makes shooting skatboarding so much easier. GREAT timing! Are you sure its not a frontside flip? *He should hit up that rail with a lip or front board haha*
