This photo has everything. Great contrast, effective shadows,simple colour, and the thing I love the most is the pattern on the sand dissapearing into the distance. There is foreground detail making up an effective close subject, and lines and curves leading us away into the background. Just top stuff....poster material!

The dark background adds so much, even though it looks unreal. The deep shadows in the sand dunes are a great use of negative space... this one is going in the faves for sure!

What gets me on this is the wonderful curve in, around, and out.. as well as everything else falling into place perfectly.. even little bits of sand blowing to the left in the distance.
