Great night shot, though a bit too grainy - you are right, slower film would be a way to avoid it.. Otherwise excellent composition..

Great attempt, George. The film is a bit grainy for such a long exposure -- a faster ISO would, I believe augment the image. Nonetheless, I adore the composition and feel here. Good job.

I know this place!!! What is so much better about ISO 100 film? How you know how long to to keep open shutter and what f-stop to be used? I think this very good.

Beautiful shot! This is one of the reasons I looked for a site like this. I have a digital, but my loves are my old yashica and ricoh slr's..I'm trying to get the feel for some night shots.. and ideas on the time I"ll need to expose them. Thanks for sharing!
