Bertram,
I have no problems with the contrasty trees, or the composition, my one slight issue (and maybe its my monitor) is the expanse of white wall, it just feels a little hot. It keeps my eye anchored to the right of the scene, when really it should flow along the lines into the vanishing point.

Very nice. Shows the good qualities of this lens and the film to advantage.

Like this shot very much.. I see you enjoy using the C41 B&W, which I often use as well...it gives a good contrasty tone! Nicely done. :)

I read your about text and see you are dogmatically analog :) - I know all your postings here and like your simple style - but I never was sure, if it is my screen or your using of unsharp mask that seems a bit too much (f.e. here the trees are overcontrasted for me) - did you scan a print or the negative? I guess this very good lens should give enough details ...
