About For my fiftieth post I thought I'd choose something that I had to work hard for. This was shot with the camera at the edge of a puddle and me on my stomach flat on the ground holding both the camera and the ND grad as still as I could. The slide is from the *same* roll of film as the other two shots from Peggy's Cove. When the light is right and the scenery good, I usually try to work the area with different compositions. Location: Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Ooo look at the colors! You even got the light of the lighthouse in the reflection! Tho I am curious what it would be like to move the lighthouse to the side a little.

final comment, ken, have you tried offsetting the lighthouse a bit to the left so it's not directly in the center. experiment a bit and if the original is where it's at for you then so be it.

the composition, the lighting the angle, all add to the beauty of the shot but it would still be lacking the special something that would set it apart. you have the special something in the lighthouse and the green light. for me, it makes the shot. definitely a winner.

Nice shot Kenneth!
The only "flaw" in the scene, is the clash between the sun and the lighthouse. I think they conquer out each other to much, still a nice shot though.

This beautiful image would be much less beautiful if the sun could not find some room to come out. But she pops out anyway. This is why we so enjoy doing what we do. Great job Ken!
