Steven, thanks for commenting on my "Concert Hall" photo. If you want to take interior shots like that, you need a wide angle lens. Digital cameras generally fall short in this respect, which is one of the reasons I still use film. I usually shoot with a 21mm F/4 lens. Turning to your portfolio, it looks to me as if you are not using any photo software. There's pleny about--you don't have to go to an expensive and complex program like PhotoShop... there may even be software packaged with your camera that you could use. It's easy to go overboard when you find what can be done, but you've already seen what someone could do by trimming and enhancing the colours of your lovely portrait of that little girl.
