Thanks for all the comments. One of the recurring problems I have is washed out skys. I almost didn't post this one because of the washed-out sky. So for next year, I will have a polarizer if it will really help with the blue skies. My Olympus allows filters after purchasing an adapter. It will be well worth the expense if my skies start coming in with color. Again, thanks for suggestions to all.

I'm right across the lake in VT - but enjoy every photo of fall and the wilderness (even if it comes from NY ;-) Beautiful reflection - must have been a nice trip. If the camera supports filters - the best investment is on a polarizer (okay - maybe skylight too just to keep finger prints off the lens). Fall is too short.

Colours and reflections are excellent. I agree with Spencer E. a beautiful blue sky would be nice in this image. Again a great shot Regards

Beautiful reflection. It could easily be a perfect image if the sky was blue! I also think it has too much light. Have you tried out a circular polarizer? It would help a lot in this picture I feel.
