felipe, this appears to be the same composition (though a different shot) to new day. You have used the lack of color well to set a more Autumn like mood. Though compared to what we have here it still looks like summer! That wedge of light sky cutting between the dark earth and sky works well. Too bad that the trees have no detail other than being silhouttes.
Regarding that domes shot from Istanbul, I should have shot raw, but was in a hurry. Anyway, there is nothing I hate more than a completely blown sky, so I prefer to use a more silhoutted foreground over 255 255 255 skies. Might not have been the right choice, but for outdoor shots the day in the capital wasn't very helpful.
PS: I see you enquiring about the sigma 15-30 on dpreview. I've been more seriously considering getting a DSLR again, and that lens is definately on my list. Rather cheap here in Poland too. Might have to wait just a little longer though, but I await your first shots from that lens with anticipation.
