As long as you keep shooting such lovely portraits, I will come!
There are so many thing about this shot that I love. First, the emotional appeal is phenomenal. I'm sure as children we all have done this as our mothers when left us behind. I can remember running down the driveway after mine a many of times. I can hear the child in this portrait, crying, "I want my mommy".
Next, the textures in the image are quite like brush strokes, making the image resemble a painting. I like that, as it is art. As I am typing this crit I see the number of viewers climb and I think to myself, how can they just peek and go on. I just keep looking at it!!
