I agree with Juan, the depth of field is distracting...There's too much out of focus on the top and bottom. Maybe try cropping it? Otherwise, a good effort! ;)

I like almost everything about this photo EXCEPT the depth of field. I love the color, and the water droplets. In macro photography you have to use a really high f-number to get sufficient depth of field for the object to be in complete focus. Remember the closer you get to a subject the narrower your depth of field will be so you have to compensate by increasing your f-number. You could argue that the narrow DOF was intentional and in some situations I could buy the argument but here I don't see any artistic or creative reason for such a narrow DOF.

Subha: That learning curve is so difficult, but this turned out nicely and many of the photos are enhanced, you are right, by the frame. I have procrastinated on learning, but this photo is beautifully done and I like the frame. I don't like the words, but as it was an experiment. Good balance of color to make the photo balanced.
