I like dead flowers -- maybe better than living ones. Not sure why, just as I'm not sure why I like this. One the surface, it doesn't look like much, but there's a quality of beauty here, there is the shape of the leaves and the shape of the background light, and it's all doing something. And doing it quietly, so that you have to spend some time with it.
And you are changed a bit from having spent that time with it.
