Your version is by far more interesting than mine but the reason why I don't change anything at my photos after they are taken is because I am still a beginner and I am only learning what photos I would like to take.
Mu first teacher suggested I should try not to change anything at my photos at the beginning to learn to be disciplined and to remember it's a photographer who makes a photo good, nothing else.
So I am following this advise but maybe it's time to move forward and start experimenting at least with contrasts, sharpness etc.

I have just noticed that you are a newcomer to Usefilm, so a great big WELCOME to you. I know I will enjoy viewing your work.
I like this find very much Monika; the wall and chair all together is a great subject to capture and it's a good choice to put it in black and white, I think it needs a sharpness boost and little bit of adjustment to give it a more dramatic look like the attachment, it is just a thought-hope you don’t mind.
