Really nice shot. It has a wonderful sense of place. I would maybe crop a few centimetres from the bottom and a cm from the left so the crescent and the houses become more prominent. However, I think this is a great photo and I love the texture and shades in the hills in the background.

I am plased to hear that you liked yhe composition.
You are right about the crescent being out of focus. Unfortunately, my tripod was not available at that moment and the crescent was so close. The reqired DOF was just so high for a hand-held shot. Still, I should have tried that! Next time :)

Great composition! 
Just my opinion, I think the golden crescent should be more sharp :)
Anyway, very beautiful shot and successful trial :)
