John L was, of course a Brit, living in the US at the time of his murder. Interesting that all four icons' lives ended differently:- Frank, old age - Elvis, self abuse - John, murder and now Michael none of the above. John's career did not span the same amount of years as the others and certainly his solo career was considerably shorted. I would argue the case that he was the most charismatic of the four, but that's my opinion. The three younger ones of the four all died far too young, long before their time. Thanks Ray. Interesting that you mention Elvis.. here people are saying that in the opo/rock genre, three of the all-time greats from the US are Frank Sinatra, Elvis and now Michael. I am willing to argue why John Lennon is not in that group, but by and large it is true, I guess..

It's hard to tell what this is about from the thumbnail, which of course made me look. It's one of the most unusual, and poignant, street images I've seen for a while. I would imagine you could get this published in a magazine article.
