A nice shot! Considering that it's not easy to photograph a nest in a tree, and considering that you certainly don't want to upset the parents, it's a very good picture. Respect for nature is very important when shooting delicate subjects like a nest. The only ting that I can complain about (and I will :) is that the leaves in the foreground are almost white due to reflections. But it's a very minor point to me. Nice !

They really are this blue.. and if anything, they were bluer last week when they first appeared. We have been standing by the window and talking softly to the momma in hopes of easing her concern of our proximity and that of our two hopelessly domestic cats. I couldn't get over how beautifully made the nest is, and that it's made with every little scrap of anything she could pull out of our trash can. Thanks for the comment. Hopefully, baby robin pics by next weekend!
