I saw 'noir-1' being awarded, but did not comment, as I did not like it as much to begin with. and I wanted you to know that you and I are on the same page. as for awards, siiiiiiighhh.. I don't agree with mods on MANY of the recent awards, including some of yours, mine, and many others ...

Hi Avi, btw "noir-1" (http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1518499) has been awarded too, but you and me know that "noir" (http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1518480) is much better, in fact I don't agree with editors in at least 2/3 of my awarded pictures :)

I know what you mean. but me, I love geometry. I LOVE minimalism. that's just me. don't get me wrong, I love PJ above all.. but since I myself don't get to travel much and see much, I also have to force myself to 'create' shots (I know you would understand) to somehow feed my urge to create. but yes, I DO understand you, JD.
out of these 4, I already said what I had to say about '***' and 'the Noir'; I had missed 'on the edge' ... superb shot. The sea inside is good, but on similar lines, I liked your 'twilight zone' much more..

not sure dear Avi, not sure; how would I explain you? I force myself to do this kind of work, a clean composition, some lines, good tones... but in the end a heartless picture IMO (perhaps the horse gives an extra dimension here); my floral work has the same meaning, it's the result of a work but not of a moment of inspiration; you know well my portfolio and understand what I'm saying

Well composed image-like the combination of horizontal and vertical lines in this.Mono works well here.
