Nice moment... right at the jump Dave... reminds me also a bit of wild bulls games with people trying to seat at there backs as they jump like that... ok, just a dog here BUT still its pose looks like that, nice snapshot.

The motion is very well "frozen" on the image, Dave! I don't know if a closer/tighter look around the dog would be better here, but the dog has good and visible details and a very great contrast of sharpness and also color against the background. The exposure balance woerked very well for enhancing that too.
