This is a nicely composed and toned photo of a beautiful scene,and even though it needs to be tilted to the right a bit,I think it's technically very good.The children playing is probably the strongest element of your photo,Carole,and if they were in your side of the river the effect might be stronger.I also think that this image would be nice in its original colour,as well,but then it couldn't give the retro feeling you were after,right? I don?t know...but that bridge looks like it was paneled in cut stone and not actually built of stone. The stone arrangement seems wrong for the last type. But the photo is very good, even for technical examinations, as I did. Good work!

Another great job Carole. The sepia toning seems perfect for this picture. I like the children playing and giving depth and proportion the the photo. I wonder if it would be possible to shift slightly to you right when taking the picture to get a bit more of the tree into the foreground to add more dimension. Regards.
