This has quite a surreal feel to it... the reflection of the sky in the water and the detail of the lily pad is great. I think the use of a polariser would have changed the picture dramatically, and for me, it wouldn't have been so good. But, I guess it depends on what you were going for. I love it just the way it is. I've noticed quite a lot of digital cameras have really excellent macros and detail to them... perhaps I'll have to test drive some more!

Very nicely composed nature image. I would suggest the use of a polarizing filter to take away the glare in the picture. In this case it would have been ideal as the angle when you took this picture was exactly right for the use of this type of filter. Brings out the actual colors much better. Hoping not to offend you with this honest advice and comment on this particular picture.
