It is the same tree as the other shot, just from a different angle. I am really pleased how this one came out. Thank you dear Ania for your continued encouragement, Hugs Dan

Outstanding dear Dan. The small image doesn't show us how truly beautiful this is until you enlarge it. Excellent details my dear friend. Big hug and kiss, Julie.

Ha ha, yes I think that is the case with many photo's for sure. I have missed some amazing shots from the thumbnails with other peoples shots, because it didn't look much, but in full size all the elements and details displayed are stunning

Hi Robert thank you for your kind comments.
This shot was taken with the 850nm filter full visible light blocking so no colour spectrum being passed, so the only option is B&W.
Even with the converted camera, if the sun is clear of clouds I am lucky to get 1/100 second, once it goes behind a these shutter times will fall to about 1 second plus.
Plus it has been raining here, for more than two months worth of weekends, this was the first day I could get out and take photo's.

You are welcome, Dan! The only problem you may encounter is that the thumbnail does not do justice to the full size image! Eb

Thank you so much Eb for your very kind comments. I am so glad you like the shot. I was supprised how it came out as it was hand held at 1/25 second, and a bit windy.

A great infrared photo - such a stark surreal landscape all the more interesting because of the people included! The tree, the distant hill form a natural and simple composition, Dan! The included people not only give a sense of scale but seem to make this an artistic rendering! This is your best infrared and should get an award! I would make a print of this, Dan! Eb
