About This picture is next in my most recent collection of twin animals.
Finally I mastered the right angle of view …no tilting or rotation needed. Sheep can be naturally balanced on steep slopes of a Dutch dike with a steady flowing river as reference to the horizontal.

Also I succeeded to get rid of confusing shadows and blinding reflections.
These make the observer (I mean you) and more seriously also my animals so nervous.

I tried to use natural colors like green and brown and honest natural materials like grass and … wool.
White is no color, it is just pure light … and black also is no color it is just the lack of something else.

No cosmetics either : I hate cosmetics on skins and on photos as often they test first on poor animals to get perfect but finally dreadful beauty products. And one thing is important, never touch any of my animals at least … before taking my candid picture.
Once you start to use these animals as a model, as offering them money, promising them a career in showbizz, bringing them to smile with amazing magic words like cheese (or fromage) the shots get artificial…and that is not my style. Tell them a silly joke now and then doesn’t do any harm but I always tell my animals “be yourself “and it will be all right … or most likely : they will feel at best. The cows will give milk, the sheep continue producing their wool.

Enjoy your holidays, so many do at the moment and … if not yet on holidays, or already returned … enjoy your day as well, it will be your turn again next year.

Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Tommaso, back in town, still have to thank you visiting my little farm with sheep. Holidays, always a period with more animals less www's. Only charging batteries of my camera and a bit those of myself,
best regards,
Paul

Dear Michele, not out heart but out sight. I was travelling and avoided PC's to experience if that life still exists. Yes it exists and it is not of less quality.
Thank you for visiting, appreciation and not barbecuing my Dutch sheep.
Hope you are doing well,
hugs and kisses, Paul

Hi Stan, thanks for appreciation of my Dutch sheep. I stayed in a small 18th century farmhouse last week. Today remote places are a choice, as cell phones, wifi, access points and internet cafés proliferate even through deserts and rainforests but life continues also without all this I experienced.
Cheers, Paul

Hi Nicole, still thanks for visiting this weird Dutch scenery. I enjoyed visiting Luxembourg too. Amazing city and cheap fuel for further travel.
I will show some of my impressions later.

Thanks for your visit and comment dear Ania.
It took me some time, but better late than never.
Areas and periods without internet access still exist.

Hi Arif, hope you are doing well.
Thanks for your visit and appreciations. The animals are equally thankful as far the grass is green and the cams are only shooting peacefully,
enjoy your day my friend,

Hi Harry, if John is a hunter or just organising barbecue parties, Dutch sheep don't care with the Rocky Mountains and a big ocean inbetween.
Do you like the image or that of John ?
enjoy your day,
Paul
