I like this shot very much dear Chaterine, the composition and lighting is fantastic, seems to me to be a lot of image noise for ISO 200. Not sure what is going on with the rest of these comments though ;-).

I send you hugs and a kiss, Hopefully that helps. Dan

Hi friends, to be or not to be?
The photography is a lot + of what we see
and before commenting we must
keep in mind this!
I do not believe that Visar wanted to offend you, in his world evidently to "be" wants to say presence while for you Chate, to be is a synonym of essence!
Different PoV.

No Chaterine, you are not a monster at all,I never thought that ,or I wanted to say that...I just feel sorry cause you are so upset because of just one opinion...Please don't be...Accept it (wrong or right ) as different opinion from yours...We all should here accept opinions from other persons,no meter do we like it or not...

Please try to not be so upset :)

Hey Chaterine ,
I really don't see the reason for angry ...Visar just saids his opinion , and his vision of your work...He didn't want to offend you,I am sure, just he wrote what he thought and felt...So I really don't see reason for this "fight"....
You can respect his opinion, or not...but you must accept it as opinion different from yours...and that is good communication between people with different points of view...respect person who might give you negative critic of your work, just because it's his opinion....

warm regards and come on..no hard feelings...we try to be nice and friends here:)

chaterine,

I FELL ME LIKE IN FRONT OF COURT.
(do not feel like it, just be responsible for your work)

EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT.ALL KIND OF APPROACH BY ARTISTS IS DIFFERENT.I DONT PUNISH A PERSON BECAUSE HE HAS ANOTHER VIEWS...ALL PEOPLE ARE FREE TO EXPRESS OURSELF.I CAN COMMENT,BE AGREE OR NOT,BUT DONT CONDAMAMN ME BECAUSE IM NOT LIKE YOU...YOUR STYLE.
(this is like telling me my God does not exist)

YOU OFFENDED ME IF YOU SAY FRUITLESSNESS....
I HOPE YOU SAID THAT NOT IN CONSCIOUSNESS.
(i naively believe that communication can settle down everything)
.

ah, i see now.
scratch a lier find the thief :s

well, i have to say now- plainly, that, i do not apprichiate this kind of shallowness my dear Chaterine- and i do not apprichiate when there is no common ground, and i do not apprichiate to just let things fly by without a little scrutinization- and i see the fruitlessness of this all.

take care. bye.

Dear visar sherifi...
Photography is a pleasure, is a profession by blind: we don't make a photo of what we see, but of what we feel, of what we say to ourself about what we saw.

dear visar, our argument is very big. there are actually a lot of corrents (purist,edonist,surrealist,neoclessicist..ecc...)we cant have the same mind.

  0

absynthius . absynthius .   {K:20748} 5/16/2008
OK, Chaterine,
is your point that what one sees is the definite meaning or representation of what we percieve from the outter shell/ form?

i think talking concretely, say your picture, or mine- be it any, would be far more helpful.

in addition, i fanatically believe that art is universal- but that does not mean that it does not have filters.

regards,
v.

nice work, impressive...

Chaterine Harton Chaterine Harton   {K:4065} 5/16/2008
all the best 4 those that they are able to see more...art is more than i meccanic thing...a sunset is a sunset...nothing more...but if you see with the eyes of your heart...you can see a lot of thing...like,4 example, the face of the person you love.
i appreciate your comment, every boby is free in thoughts and opinions...
I think, honestly, art is something hug...an explored world...that is what make a photo,a drawing something graet...because is able to talk....

dear Chaterine,

i think you are giving much credits to a world that in fact is not so, in the sense that if it is not conveyed, like anything- from an existential viewpoint, it does not exist.
but what exists here is a nice pose of a good looking female. she does not reveal herself. as for the mere beauty, well it is not enough- there has to be something beoynd it, something we feel and it thrills us, that ignites bubbles in our stomach, that is not to say that the beauty goes unapprichiated, but if 'femininity' goes only this far- then i do not want it, and i do not apprichiate it.

the form and content are usually impared without the subject.
you talk of moment, inexistant here. she is too aware of the camera in front of her, her eyes are hidden, she does not let us get into her world, to her mystique.
I think, if she were to look straight at us with some pearcing eyes, with a whole world hidden there, and showing only sparcles of it would be a better choice.

now, if i talk technically, i'd have to say that 'a poor subject (or the lack of it), perfectly executed, would still make a poor photograph'.

please, just consider this as an honest comment, never an attempt for humiliation,

regards,
v.
