We have them everyday visiting our balcony! They look fat and satisfied enough to throw a fight!But difficult to capture...at the slightest movement in the room they fly away!I like the way the light brings forth the details in the feathers!

What a nice portrait of the sparrow, Dave! It really looks so real on the image, and also so well separated from its surroundings! I find the many sharp details of its feather and especially the lighting/coloring great! I don't know if the overexposed trunk at the left is a plus or a minus, but still considering that they don't care about the photographer's wishes, the image is a very good capture of wild life.
And it helps me stay warm with photography too! ;-)
