a perfect spot to take a perfect shot,the low and wide angle make it very impressive.
on my first trip to greece ,i was planning to take a ferry and before i knew what is happening i was at the toll point...well i took an old map :) .so didnt have the chance to picture this beauty.

thanks a lot dear friend... the bridge is a big corve...not only against to the sea level but also its body is not strait, so it was very difficult to find a good point of view near to its base, that is a very unique bridge made under lot of difficultes and that makes it so special... not so big (about 2350 meters) not so high (about 180 meters from the sea) and not so deap to the water (about 65 meters the deepest point)

Nice capture and point of view, John! It is one of those compositions where the perspective is complex and not all that easy to correct - something is always going to lean or not be at level.

hmmmm... I understand what you mean, for that I must go more closed to the side of the bridge however the bridge is not perfectly in line... if you go there, you'll see that it is like a curve from Rio to Antirio, and so you must go in longer distance if you want to 'catch' the side of the bridge...
after that your idea on sharpen is GREAT! that is something I could do here and you're right...but it's difficult to mark the cables hahahahaa....
about advicing? well I thanks you a lot! REALLY! for that reason I'm here... if I believe that my photos are perfect then I had my photos to my own site that I could rate my photos and say nice word for my works....you can critique me... you can even kill me (lol... about my work...)
lol...nothink stupid dear Olga... you must try hard to say something stupid I think... muh more than I :-D

The only advice to give you is to make the bridge somehow pop out of the whole image, so that it can become the main subject. Try to do that by sharpening only the bridge and using more contrast ( not the regular brightness and conrtast tool , there are other ways , much better ,that make the main object have more radius) .Well, who am I to advise you?You know I still like the image.The tones of light are just perfect, nice choice of time to capture the image, the angle is fine!!!!!Kisses and don't be put down by my stupid ideas!You like it that way, don't you?:)
