Hi Tom, the flag!? hmm. there is a whole history about this flag. I am an Albanian from Kosovo, that is an ex province from ex Yugoslavia, inhabited by more than 90 % of Albanians. But the history did a lot of anjust things to the people of this place. We had a war just 8 yrs ago with the Serbia that had occupied Kosovo. Now, we are under the UN protectorate. Hopefully we will get the independece soon, maybe this Deceber, and with it we will have a new flag. But this red and black flag, is the flag of Albanians, of the country of Albania. But the Alban nation had a lot of misfortune throughout the history and many of their lands are now under the juricdition of neighbouring countries, Greece, Ex Republic Yugoslav of Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro. That happened in 1878 in a meeting of Great Powers, they chopped our lands like the brad in the table. Of course now we are in a different stage of 'nationalism'. It is time for peace despite the bitter history. But, just to let you know as you seem to have no knowledge about that. regards, V.
