I know I'm late because I saw your folio and it has many good photos already.
Great work in here. Carter is a charater by himself as we can see from the original. What amazed me was YOUR work.
Really a voodoo thing. Probably done by the PS voodoo master.

Man this is a cool portrait. Comp, lighting, expression, subject - all first rate. Only wish it was a little sharper with a bit more DOF. I see a black border top and bottom with the image background being dark blue - my monitor? Another fine image Jim.

great portrait of (i think) a great guy... those eyes are realy hypnotising. nice colortone too, and the fact that the head is sort of cut off the body (the head dissappears in the background is well done. great capture in my opinion... ;-)
