A classic beauty! So soothing and the cool colors help play up the winter scene. It gives you a real "wish you were here" feeling - but be sure to bring a coat. :) Perfectly etched details that makes you feel like you are seeing it for real - not just from behind someones camera! Breathtaking!

One of my favorite views in that area, although I've never been there when there's snow on the ground, and that adds another dimension to the scene. I like the way you've just caught the sun hitting the distant peaks, too.

Hi Rob,
Thanks to you and everyone else for your kind comments. This was taken just after sunrise in mid October, just a few days before the road closed for the winter. I had been up here a few days before and captured it without snow. I decided to make one more visit before the road closed and was rewarded with this beautiful dusting of snow.
